The defendants are members of a criminal street gang. On May 14, 2025, they were celebrating the birthday of one of their associates and posted about it on social media. Later that day, rival gang members arrived in a vehicle and circled the area where the defendants were located. Once the defendants spotted the vehicle, they drove away to retrieve an AR-style weapon. They returned to the location wearing masks, hoods and armed with firearms.  As the defendants began walking towards where they saw the rival gang’s vehicle, they heard gun shots in the distance. The defendants then started shooting approximately 20 times towards a vehicle carrying an innocent bystander. Jordan and Galloway continued to shoot approximately 16 times at another vehicle carrying innocent bystanders.  The defendants then fled from the area, disposing of their firearms and clothing. They were later identified and arrested.
