CASE: Christopher Cole (Case #24FE009729)

PROSECUTOR: Deputy District Attorney Kendra Havlick, Special Assault & Child Abuse Unit

On October 27, 2025, Christopher Cole was convicted by a jury of eight counts of lewd act upon a child and one count of committing a sex act with a child under 10 years old.  The jury also found true that there were multiple victims; substantial sexual contact with a victim under the age of 14 years old; use of obscene material depicting sexual conduct; the victims were particularly vulnerable; the crime was carried out in a manner that indicates planning, sophistication, or professionalism; and the defendant took advantage of a position of trust or confidence.

Christopher Cole sexually assaulted two girls when they were 4 to 5 years old and 7 to 9 years old. Cole sexually abused one of the victims many times, including sodomy and various other sex acts. Cole showed the second victim pornographic material involving oral copulation, then made her perform the act on him several times. During one of the incidents, Cole committed the act with both of the victims at the same time.

An allegation that Cole has a prior strike conviction for voluntary manslaughter will be determined at the sentencing hearing.

Cole faces a maximum sentence of 400 years to life in prison.  Sentencing is set for December 5, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in Department 18 before the Honorable Carlton Davis.
